Eryngium
Eryngium is a plant belonging to the Apiaceae family, more commonly known as chalcatreps, consisting of small biennial or perennial herbaceous plants, spiny and usually with very conspicuous umbrella-like flowerings. It is possible to find this genus of plants all over the world, with particular forms and characters: ascending and branching stems (or none at all); entire or pinnate, rigid or leathery leaves; spherical or cylindrical flower heads inflorescences. In any case and in whatever place you decide to place it, Eryngium is capable of creating a unique and intense atmosphere. It is often used, in fact, in dry flower arrangements as the blue colour of the umbels is preserved for a long time.
Cymbidium Orchid
Native to Central and South Asia as well as Australia, the Cymbidium Orchid is usually a soft, pastel-coloured, delicate flower. This type of plant remains in flower for weeks at a time, which is why it is one of the most popular orchids in the world. To encourage flowering, it is best to grow these plants outdoors in a cool place until the winter season arrives, at which point you should bring the plant indoors or, in any case, shelter it from frost and excessively cold temperatures. Cymbidiums particularly like sunny exposures, which favour abundant flowering. But be careful not to expose the plant to too much sun or too hot locations. The leaves can easily discolour, especially in summer.
